High view point pretty landscape8/28/2023 ![]() ![]() Also changing room cubicles are incredibly small and we could not find any family ones. Only real negatives was the fact that having spent £80+ to visit they then want more money to park and then again more money to have a locker! I did think this was poor and left a bitter taste in my mouth. New slides are great however are already starting to look like they need some TLC especially in the exit area which is sad as they are only 18 months old. Also not too crowded considering it was a Saturday and the number of slides help to disperse people and keep queue times down. Some areas were a little tired but on the whole a really great day. I had not been since I was a kid about 15 years ago and it was exactly the same except for the 4 new slides in tornado alley. We took our 6 year old and we all really enjoyed it. Well done, World of Wedgwood, Josiah would be proud of you! Highly recommended for a relaxing and fun day. All the staff that we spoke to were helpful, informed and eager to please. We had a mooch around the shop stocked with items made by the talented folk of Staffordshire, and ended our day with a wander through the V&A ceramics display which was fascinating. Our waitress, Kirsty, had an admirable knowledge of the menu and the teas on offer! After a leisurely break it was up to the clay studio to have a go on potter's wheel, supervised by the very friendly and talented Sam, where we each made a couple of items that will be fired and sent on to us in a couple of weeks. Later we enjoyed a delicious, fresh and tasty afternoon tea. She was very knowledgeable and introduced many of the staff by name. It began with a welcome drink in the beautifully decorated restaurant, followed by a tour of the factory with our guide, Penny. Such a fabulous day at the World of Wedgwood for a Ceramics Experience and Afternoon Tea. ![]()
